Due to further hospitalization and some struggles with my heart since the first of the year, my blog posts have suffered. This is a time when we all need to be prayng for and encouraging each other, so I am posting some new blogs today (March 13th, 2009), I prayed for all of you who have responded to these blogs since last year.
I received an email on March 11th telling me of a prophetic Word from David Wilkerson on March 7th that great calamity was about to happen and even the righteous would be shaken. There would be fires, rioting, and looting in major cities around the world. This Word said that there would be a thousand fires in New York, in particular. I have always admired David Wilkerson’s writings and words to us. He has been pouring out of his heart to God’s people for years. Of course, there was great criticism of this Word on the Internet almost immediately.
I immediately called some of my intercessors and we prayed for understanding and confirmation of this Word.
I heard this morning that on March 9th, an astroid came very close to colliding with the earth. No one saw it coming and no one was aware of it until it passed by the earth at 46,000 plus miles per hour. It was similar in size to the astroid that devastated nearly 800 square miles of unihabited forest land when it hit Russia several years ago. This certainly could be God saying, “This is an example and warning of just how quickly such a calamity could occur.” Or, perhaps there were many who were aware of Wilkerson’s prophetic Word on March 7th and they interceded, asking for God’s forgiveness and grace and mercy for the United States between the 7th and the 9th.
David Wilkerson prophesied that the wrath of God stands at the door and is about to be released upon the earth.
This response to Wilkerson’s posting on his blog read as follows:
I want those I serve to know two things concerning God’s wrath. First, some leaders in the church have sadly fallen into the deception that there is no such thing as the wrath of God. Roman 1:18 says, “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth.” Some act in ungodly ways, others are ungodly by their suppressing the truth of God’s wrath. Some leaders reduce, ignore and even ridicule anyone who reminds them of the certainty of God’s wrath. Romans 2:5 also tells us clearly that the wrath of God is toward those whose hearts are hard and impenitent. This leads to the second element of understanding God’s wrath. It is never, ever, ever poured out on the children of God. In I John 2:2 “He is the propitiation for our sins.” The word propitiation means “wrath quencher.” What marvelous grace, what redemption! God’s wrath at my rebellion and sin has been quenched on the Cross of Christ. Hard times come; rain falls even on the just but wrath does not.
The following article is the Word From Liberty - Prophecies 2009 in my Liberty Savard Ministries Newsletter. I’ve recreated it here with a few small additions together with a prayer to pray to make sure that you clear out of your soul any misconceptions and preconcieved ideas you have about these times and about what God will and won’t do in the days ahead.
Word From Liberty - Prophecies 2009
It is interesting to follow what some of the most respected prophets of our times seem to be saying. It is not really encouraging to find that so many of them are giving what seems to be diametrically opposed messages for the rest of this year, but some of their words could be parts of a bigger picture that God alone understands at this point in time..
In checking out the websites of many of the prophets of this day, there is little agreement on exactly what God is saying for these last days. Some speak of pending calamity, some speak of God’s wrath upon the US and other countries in 2009, one speaks of great joy and festivities coming in 2009, one speaks of new businesses coming forth, one speaks of new brain and spiritual currents coming, and one speaks of God calling denominations abominations,
God says (Deuteronomy 18:21-22), “If you say in your heart, ‘How may we know the word that the Lord has not spoken? When a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him” (ESV).
First Thessalonians 5:19-21 (AMP) tells us: “Do not quench (suppress or subdue) the [Holy] Spirit; Do not spurn the gifts and utterances of the prophets [do not depreciate prophetic revelations nor despise inspired instruction or exhortation or warning]. But test and prove all things [until you can
recognize] what is good; [to that] hold fast.”
Words that are spoken in the name of the Lord are very serious to Him. Still He says that we are not to despise the prophets’ utterances, but we are to test and prove all things until we can recognize what is good. We are to hang on to that.
One well-known prophet said this, “You do not have to have every answer today in this changing world. However, you can think the way that He thinks. If you trust in your own knowledge, you will miss the mark. You can be in harmony with Him and your spirit will bear witness to His Spirit of life.” I completely agree with what this man has said. So how do we begin to think the way He thinks? What has worked best for me is to bind my mind to the mind of Christ and to loose all wrong patterns of thinking and beliefs and to loose deception, denial, misconceptions, and preconceived ideas in my soul.
For years I have said in response to people asking me if I was a prophet or an apostle: “No, I do not hold either one of those offices, even though I may occasionally stumble into giving a word of prophecy.” All of us can be used to give a word of prophecy if we are as surrendered to God as we know how to be, especially when we are continuing to surrender more every day. This does not mean we are prophets, but it does mean that we can be used in this gift as the Spirit sees fit.
I actually believe that I hold the unofficial office of an end-times street sweeper. I have been called to help Christians get the clutter and stuff out of their souls before the end-time prophets and apostles begin to speak God’s words that are going to rattle and shake everything we know, think, and have. I believe these final Words have begun.
You will not be able to sort out the false prophecies, the well-meant prophecies, the soulish prophecies, and the true prophecies in these final days until you sort out your own misconceptions and beliefs about prophetic words. You most likely will have to admit that you may have wrong beliefs and ideas about prophecy along with your feelings about your favorite prophet or minister.
Since God is the Father and the Author of creativity, what we cannot see is clearly visible to Him. He can reveal that prophetic words that seem to contradict each other actually dovetail with each other to reveal an entirely new thought from the mind of God. Many of the seemingly contradictory prophetic words from God being spoken today could be like a patchwork quilt of His warnings and love and promises to His people. Our finite, natural minds cannot sort that out.
What each one of us can do, however, is to clear our souls with the Keys of the Kingdom prayers. This is not an attempt to empty our minds, rather to do a bit of spiritual housekeeping in our souls. God has not given us a dangerous mind that just gets in His way or a will that is like an unbroken horse. God has not given us emotions that are sometimes silly and sometimes destructive.
These are all three powerful and wonderful gifts from Him. Our problem is that we have allowed these three natural blessings to become infected with wrong teaching, wrong thinking, self-defensiveness, and the ways of the world. It is not necessary for us to identify each wrong thing in our thinking or even in the thinking of the world; but it is prudent that we know that we can trust the Keys of the Kingdom prayers to steady and stabilize us while loosing and removing that which is wrong in us. The Keys of the Kingdom prayers help us remove everything that keeps getting in God’s way as He tries to move us into destiny alignment.
Here is a Keys of the Kingdom prayer for clearing out misconceptions and preconceived ideas about the prophecies for 2009:
Father, thank you for the Keys of the Kingdom to help me get rid of my preconceived ideas and misconceptions. I have long desired to think like Jesus thinks, but my own thoughts and ideas just keep getting in my way.
I bind my will to your will, Father. I obligate it to the plans and purposes you have always planned for me. I am excited to realize that you have always had specific things for me, imagine—just me, to do and that is why you have created me the way I am. Some of my seemingly less-than-desirable traits are not really mistakes; they are just not in alignment with God’s plans for them yet. How great you are!
I bind my feet to the paths you want me to walk. I bind my hands to the work you want me to do. I bind myself to your timing. I am so excited to know that you want me to work with you, to know that you are the originator of the Father Taking His Sons and Daughters to Work with Him Day!
I do not want my thinking about 2009 to be messed up with old preconceived ideas I have or with misconceptions that I have never tried to overcome to make room for your truth to permeate my being. I know that you are well aware of the economy, the government, the stock market, the gangs, the drugs, the wars, and man’s inhumanity to man. I will not fear these things for you have told me to Fear Not, For You Are With Me! I will continue to pray and look for wherever you are calling me to move into or out of.
I loose , smash, crush, and destroy all preconceived ideas, all misconceptions, all wrong teachings, and all wrong beliefs and ideas that I have rolling around in my soul. I loose the effects and influences of wrong agreements I have come into about how terrible the government is, how terrible the economy is, how terrible people are. You have already determined how each one of these areas are going to play out and end up. You are only asking me to agree with you that you are still in control.
Thank you, Lord, for the pressure and the stress that I can feel falling away as I bind my will to yours and recall that you are on top of everything! You know it all. Gracious Lord, thank you, thank you. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
